Reading Notes: Homer's Iliad, Part B

Today's reading were continuation of the tales in the first part. With that I plan to extend some of the ideas.

The Slaying of Hector and The Ransoming of Hector contained additional information that I plan on including in my story. I found the stories to be interesting. Although I had heard the tales before there are always different interpretations on how these stories end so I enjoyed being able to learn about the different details. Parts I claim to be vital for my storytelling are Achilles' reaction to Patroclus' death, and also the reactions to Hector's death. My current idea is to have the story told from Andromache's perspective, in a way that addresses her thought to Achilles.
