Week 8: Comments and Feedback
I would say that the feedback that I am receiving is incredibly beneficial. It challenges me to expand on my stories and clarify my ideas in a way that makes the story better. I definitely find that the most useful comments are the ones that question aspects of my story, it allows me to strengthen the presentation of my ideas. Lately, I have been neglecting giving feedback to other, which is why I chose this specific image. I feel like it portrays the importance of mutual feedback and I plan on working on that for future weeks.
(Feedback is a relationship: you and me., cheezburger)
Looking back on my initials thoughts and strategies, I feel like I have lacked in carrying them out. I plan on enforcing the strategies I laid out initially, and go more in depth with my feedback. It would definitely be beneficial for the recipient and me, because I get to look at stories through a different perspective than the writer. Feedback will allow me to be more critical with my own work.
The introduction posts allows me to get to know the type of person that I'm giving feedback to. It helps to ensure that the feedback is fitting and applicable to the recipient. With the comments on my introduction, I have learned that people tend to focus on two aspects that I wrote, my interest in science and my collection of books. Which I do feel is quite fitting to how I carry out my actions and assignments, so I'm pretty happy with my introduction post.
