Week 8: Reading and Writing

I think that pairing the reading assignments with the writing is incredibly helpful. It allows me to explore an idea without having to write out a rough draft first.
So far I'm happy with my project that are a few visual things that i would like to fix but I will get to them in a bit. I am happy that most people enjoy the background on the character's family, most of which is based off of personal experience.

I chose this picture specifically because that story is what peaked my interest in mythology and folklore, so I thought it was fitting. Also it corresponds to my favorite story that I've written, which is from Week 4, Lost Love. I'm really proud that I was able to incorporate a different style and still manage to get the point across. With all the writing in class, I feel like my biggest accomplishment has to do with using my creativity. Before this class I had only written essays and now I got to explore more of my creative side.
I would definitely like to give myself much more time to do the readings and writings, which I tend to do last minute but I plan on working on that.
